Music review analysis of Himesh Reshammiya's album Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006).

Tum Saanson Mein

The song begins with a lovely synthetic piano piece (with awesome instrumental quality!) in unplugged mode with himesh belting out lines in his sharp knife edge vocals, whereby da vocal echo effect is used to maximum effect in this song.

Himesh's line HUM-KO (ubber rwakin nazal twang) from 0.33 to 0.34, 0.37 to 0.38 and 0.42 to 0.43

Himesh's lines KARRRRR (off-da-hook quick emphasis twist) GAYEEE (off-da-hook subtle soothing vocals) from 0.45 to 0.47

OFF-DA-HOOK string instrument (guitar riffs) from 0.50 to 0.54 was similarly used at start of AAP KI KASHISH from AASHIQ BANAYA AAPNE and from 1.29 to 1.38 in AHISTA AHISTA TITLE TRAX is joined in by a quick rising passionately intense violin piece from 0.56 to 1.06 that builds da song's graph.

The underlying beat skips itself in latter ending part of the basic repetitive loop pattern, and is similar to the underlying beat skip of BELIBAAS from SILSILAY but with a slower tempo.

Himesh's line, DHADKAN (terrific singing) from 1.12 to 1.15,

The majestic keyboard piece followed by quick heavy beats from 1.26 to 1.28 & 2.34 to 2.37 give great intermittent effect.

Tulsi's vocals have great melodious haunt depth feel, especially the line DEEWAANA (with echo effect) at 2.00, 2.02 & 2.07 and a special mention for KARRRR (melodious quick twist) from 2.12 to 2.13

Her low pitched ALTO vocals from 2.18 to 2.22 & 2.28 to 2.31 are also commendable.

Himesh's line TUM along with a keyboard tune at 2.14 is the BEST combined effect in the song.

Himesh's line, TUM NAZAR MEIN (fulltu vocals) from 2.24 to 2.26

Himesh's lines, KAAR (OFF-DA-HOOK quick emphasis twist) GAYEEE (OFF-DA-HOOK soothing feel) from 2.48 to 2.50

Between mukhda & 1st stanza, off-da-hook catchy guitar riffs that were also used in AAP KI KASHISH and AHISTA AHISTA TITLE TRAX plays simultaneously along with the mesmerizing passionately intense violin piece.

The quick heavy beats from 3.40 to 3.42 pick up da songs tempo again.

Himesh' lines, tum NAZAR ME (highest note, goes fulltu) EEEIN (feel good twist and echo effect) from 3.51 to 3.54

Himesh's lines, KAAR (OFF-DA-HOOK quick emphasis twist) GAYEEE (OFF-DA-HOOK middle octave impact vocals) from 4.16 to 4.18

Between 1st & 2nd stanza, more violin piece plays in semi-plugged mode from 4.19 to 4.33 to make proceedings a bit laidback followed by a majestic quick rising violin piece from 4.34 to 4.35 to pick the song's graph again. OFF-DA-HOOK string piece (guitar riffs) used in AAP KI KAHSISH and AHISTA AHISTA TITLE TRAX  from 4.36 to 4.44

2nd stanza

Himesh's lines from 4.44 to 4.52 are sung with PASSIONATE FEEL vocals.

Tulsi's melodious haunt depth feel vocals from 4.52 to 5.01 give a nostalgic effect, with emphasis on BAATEIN, AAWAZ, KHAMOSHAIYAAN (haunt effect).

The quick heavy beats from 5.25 to 5.27 pick up da songs tempo again.

Himesh's lines, NAZAR (highest note, goes fulltu) EEEIN (feel good twist and echo effect) from 5.25 to 5.38

Himesh's lines, KAAR (OFF-DA-HOOK quick emphasis twist) GAYEEE (OFF-DA-HOOK soothing feel vocals with echo effect) from 6.30 to 6.32 & 6.38 to 6.42 is one of his trademark sufi rwak vocal effects.

The song finishes with a chime effect to give feeling as if da hero and herione woke up from a fairytale dream and back into da realms of reality i.e. suhnere khwabon ki duniya se jaage aur haqeeqat ki duniya mein wapas.

Highlights of this song:

1. Himesh's sharp knife edged vocals and Tulsi's melodious haunt depth feel vocals (both with echo effect is the key).

2.The underlying beats that skip themselves in latter part along with quick heavy beats that give great intermittent effect.

3. Aap Ki Kashish and Ahista Ahista Title Trax styled string instrument tune (guitar riffs) and passionately intense violin piece.

4. The keyboard sounds in between and chime effect that give a majestic heavenly effect.

This guest song was a 'nostalgic fairytale' affair whereby Himesh hits a SIXER and Anu malik was not a happy man, understandably so!

This song in terms of composition and music arragment is a cake and Himesh's and Tulsi's vocals top it up with iceing on that cake to make it a sugar coated delicious experience in totality for da listener.
