Woh darasal actually kya ho gaya tha ke, once upon a time Asha Bhonsleji came on da sets of Saregamapa challenge and somewhere deep within she cannot digest da fame, popularity and success that da new-age singers like Himesh has gotten in such a short span of time, a rare feat that she can never ever dream of besides being in da industry for so many decades of years.

In da above video she says that new singers will only be successful if "agar aap unko acha singer banana chahte hain...awaaz unki aur gayaaki hamari...tab jaake kuch singer banenge" from 2.35 to 2.41 and Himesh replies by saying "jisko bhagwaan ne sawikaar kar liya, jisko new age ne sawikaar karliya jisko aawam ne sawikaar karliya...use hum discard karne waale kaun hote hain...so follow them, thats it" from 5.08 to 5.18

In the above video, check Ashaji's stone faced expression from 0.32 to 0.35, and when Himesh says "select and sing new age songs then you will get chances quickly coz competition has reached da next level" she cuts him short, interrupts him mid way and brings ego into it and says "Himesh means to say that singers shouldn't sing songs of old legends" from 1.27 to 1.38 and Himesh is also amazed n says "from where these singers are brought into da equation!" from 1.57 to 1.59 and the she says that "what are current singers singing anyways" from 2.12 to 2.14 and Himesh replies "my advice for the new age kids is keeping in mind...ke unke ghar me paisa, barqat, roti aaye...and to give an outcome to this, there are so many new age composers today...so they have to be brought forward in today's era, coz I don't want problems in their house, and they don't get work, coz he is witnessing 2 lakhs singers they followed the same old age stereotyped advice and broke down at home...so he wants that...unke ghar me rozi roti aaye and he wants new fresh voice singing new age compositions" from 3.50 to 4.26 and during this time he "breathes sighlessly" and he gets all riled / fired up from 5.27 to 6.34 with a bit of sarcasm there.

In the above video, she makes a face from 0.04 to 0.05 (jaise ki unko saamp sungh gaya hai) like BALU (OM PURI) in MALAMAAL WEEKLY when lottery inspector Arbaaz Khan and Paresh Rawal arrive in the old Ambassador which stops with da screeching of brakes, and Arbaaz Khan asks "aare bhaisaab, yeh anthony ka ghar kahan hai?" and Ballu who is repairing da chain of his cycle, looks with a mean-faced grin on his face and then quickly abruptly looks away from 8.06 to 8.07

Also in below video (sorry for quality, its not my content!...please LOWER YOUR VOLUME to minimize da impact of irritating wheez sound at start) she again makes Ballu type faces when Himesh sings one of his masterpieces and all audiences are wooed.

In above vid from 0.56 to 1.00 & 1.27 to 1.30, she makes Ballu type faces jaise ke saamp sungh gaya ho when Himesh sings Main Jahaan Rahu and the crowd go ballastic.

In the above video, Vishal (of V-S) joins da party and says that "let me be absolutely frank...yeh joh performance thi aapki, mujhe bilkul pasand nahi aayi...jis chote range me tum atak gaye ho, agar us comfort zone se bahar nikal ke...Asha will be impressed which is da most important thing" from 2.01 to 2.18 whereas Himesh said that "its not da contestant's fault coz I have restricted him coz he feels that the contestant is slightly weaker in other genres and from 2.21 to 2.34, and Himesh says that he wants the contestant to first prove himself, and even if he gets eliminated from the contest, then he should get work and have food in his house, and that will indeed happen...and that Himesh will establish him in this genre so that he would have 5-6 songs whether he remains in this show or not" from 3.15 to 3.19...and then Asha tries to cut him short and he replies "Ek minute...ek minute...please complete karna chahta hoon" from 3.16 to 3.19...then she demands him to sing another song n brings in ego again by saying "me judge hu...koi kuch nahi bol sakta" from 4.00 to 4.02, and then he sings an old song, Himesh's dejected facial expression from 4.08 to 4.10 says it all as Asha smiles to get things her way. Then Himesh fumes and says "after this you will remain a cover version singer and I did not become your mentor to become a cover version singer from 5.56 to 6.03. He says, "if I have become his guru, I will decide his career graph for next 6 months, and if I do it then I will also ensure that in next 6 months you will get work...I have that much commercial sensibilities...and then he remains firm on his decision and says his infamous line...MUJHE TERE GHAR ME ROTI CHAHIYE...STRUGGLING NAHI CHAHIYE (gets all riled up in shouting tone) from 7.30 to 7.51...and then Asha passes her judgement and says "gaana hi aapne aisa chuna tha joh Rahat Fateh gaaye, wohi aapko gaana tha!...toh isi liye thodi gadbad hogayi...aur apne joh Burman saab ke gaana joh Rafi saab ne gaaya tha, woh bhaut acha gaaya hai...agar pehla yeh gaaya hota toh pure mark aapko dedeti mai"...so being a judge she had superior authority and deducted points of the contestant coz he sang a song in Rahat's genre rather than whether he justified it or not, partiality there! Himesh has always emphasized that each singer should stick to his strong points and sing in his genre.

Now check out her double standarded hypocricy in da below video, whereby she wore da cap and tried to sing in Himesh's style and cashing in on Himesh's popularity in her performance show. After all which musician won't love to be in Himesh's shoes, regardless of how veteran they are. Totally wannabee!

Also, while many would perceive Himesh to be arrogant on reality shows, one of his key best trait is that he SPEAKS HIS MIND OUT and ALWAYS STANDS FOR DA TRUTH. In above vid, Himesh tries to clarify his viewpoint, from a practical point of view.

He clarified his stance all over again in above video when he came to Saregamapa Lil champs and said that "bacha humko guru maanta hai, meri joh advice hai uspe uska career pura left ya right ja sakta hai, kyunki woh inspire hota hai hamse, lekin bache koh gumraah kar rahe the ke ...versatile hona chahiye...me kailash kher koh bol raha hu ke kishore kumar ki tarah gaana gao aur Alka ji koh bol raha hu ke Usha Uthup ki tarah gaana gao" in between 1.32 & 2.12

and then he said his infamous dialogue...uski wajah se uske ghar mein struggling aajayegi bhookmari aajayegi...toh mujhe uske ghar mein rozi roti chahiye struggling nahi chahiye...toh us samay khoon ghol utha tha...from 2.13 to 2.21...and his uneasyness (heavy sighless breathing) can be seen from 2.23 to 2.26 which he also similarly felt expressing his same vaild point in all other previous show videos.

And to give an outcome to his practical words by which he means serious business, he also signed an artiste under HR Musik Limited in the same show itself in below video from 7.54 to 9.34

So while all the other remaining judges in the past saregama shows that LAUGHED AT HIMESH'S EXPENSE and repeatedly kept pulling his leg (unki taang khinchte rahe) for his statement, it is Himesh who indeed had THE LAST LAUGH!

Shree ram waz Indian Idol 5 winner in which Anu Malik waz a judge, but finally he bagged a playback singing offer after losing in another show where HR waz called az guest judge/mentor in a special appearance...what other composers couldn't promise a contestant throughout the entire season, HR promised it in just one episode...mujhe tere ghar me roti chahiye, trophy nahi...what happens is that these winners get a lump sum prize money n a trophy, but how long does that last, not for entirety! what about after that! how many winners have been able to establish themselves as full fledged playback singers like saregamapa winner Shreya Goshal! what they really need is actual playback singing offers to establish themselves which many promise but only a few like HR deliver on
past show winners like winners like Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul Vaidya, Rooprekha, Kazi Taukeer, Debojit etc etc, where r they in terms of playback singing...they r called to co-host the latest season etc...thats what HR said..."I will establish you in this genre, taaki tumhare paas is genre mein 5-6 gaane hamesha rahe...chahe tum is show me raho ya na raho"

In Jo Jeeta Woh Superstar 2 Grand Finale, Himesh said from 1.44 to 2.03 that "meri taraf se yeh me zaroor kahunga, ke in dono me se aaj joh bhi nahi jeet payega, woh financial year March 2013 se pehle, meri film me bhaut acha gaana, uska bahaar aajayega...woh vaada hai".

Sreeram was Indian Idol 5 winner in which Anu Malik was a judge who likes taking digs and pot shots at Himesh just like some other artistes like to do for his infamous statement 'Mujhe tere ghar mein roti chahiye, struggling nahi', but finally he bagged a playback singing offer after losing in another show where Himesh was called as guest judge/mentor in a special appearance. What other composers couldn't promise a contestant throughout the entire season, Himesh promised it in just one episode, thus reaffirming his theory...mujhe tere ghar me roti chahiye, sirf show off, show case ya memento ke liye trophy nahi. What happens is that these winners get a lump sum prize money with a trophy, but how long does that last, not for entirety! What about after that! How many winners have been able to establish themselves as full fledged playback singers like saregamapa winner Shreya Goshal! What they really need is actual playback singing offers to establish themselves and get that continuity in singing careers which many composers promise but only a few like Himesh deliver on. Past musical reality show winners like Abhijeet Sawant, Rahul Vaidya, Rooprekha Banerjee, Kaqi Taukeer, Debojit etc etc, where are they in terms of playback singing, maximum they are called back to co-host the latest season of the show. That is why Himesh said "every singer must stick to their strong points and in that specific particular range which highlights their usp n x-factor rather than being a jack of all trades n master of none, n that I will establish you in this genre, taaki tumhare paas is genre mein 5-6 gaane hamesha rahe...chahe tum is show me raho ya na raho".

Saregama co-judges are testimony to the fact that, when Himesh is all fired up then its not advisable to mess around with him. See, contestant ki rozi roti ke maamle mein Himesh bhaut hi stubborn hain aur apni baat/word ke bhaut pakke hain.
